City Hengelo is easy to reach by car and train. Ideal for a weekend away in the heart of Twente. Certainly if you really fancy a shop till you drop. In Hengelo itself there are surprisingly attractive and original shops, which are included in the special shopping walk route (highly recommended!). But there’s also perfect shopping in various cities just over the German border. You can cycle to your heart’s content in the Twente countryside. Pump up the tyres to cycle over undulating roads, through ancient forests, along meadows, fens and streams.

Great Experience

The room was very clean and organised. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was trying to get a room in Hengelo after midnight. The gentleman who let me in was very nice and helpful, and got me the room very fast. There was some snacks for free in the room as well.

massive upgrade in lobby since last visit in 2018 clean tidy and great staff as ever rooms tidy and clean good value parking and new shop part is helpful when you need a soft drink and a late night snack great location for exploring twente region

Nice family hotel.

The common area is great to Spend time together. Nice games, comfortable chairs. The rooms are spacious, however dated and very low lit. The safety is very good as access is controlled by the room key. Breakfast is varied and delicious. Quite a few chooses, with fresh bread.
